Hey Fran! Show me where "separation of church and state" is in the Constitution. Guess what? It's NOT there!

The constitution doesn't use this exact phrase, but it does say, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." and "Article Six of the United States Constitution...forbids a religious test as a requirement for holding a governmental position..." So even though it doesn't use those words. It does talk about it.

Must be embarrassing for the Republican machine. First, SWM goes for Obama in 2008, then for Sanctorum over their candidate Romney.

I'm not disillusioned by President Obama. I voted for him 4 years ago and most certaily will again. The republican doodleheads frighten me with their lack of knowlwdge of what most of us are struggling with. Obama has been doing the best he can after the last republican president.

http://www.indianagasprices.com/Retail_Price_Chart.aspx Here are the historical gas prices for Indiana according to gasbuddy.com. $1.78 is pretty close if not right on. Those prices are most likely due to the economy tanking in the last quarter of 2008.

He never stated the change people were voting for was going to be a positive one. I guess someone should have asked him. He probably would have lied just like he does about everything else. Typical politician, no better than the rest.

It is no surprise that union members in Michiana will march in lockstep and vote the way their union leaders tell them. However, let's put things in perspective. Unions only account for 11-12% of the workforce nationwide so they are not the dominant force that the media portrays them to be. As a matter of fact, the number of Democrats who voted for Santorum in the Michigan Republican primary (for devious reasons), was rather disappointing. Even more surprising was the number of Democrats that voted for Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. You have to wonder what that says about blind Dem support for Obama. I think things have changed since the last election and the independent voters will decide this election. Believe me, the majority of those who voted for Obama last time (I'm one of them) are thoroughly disillusioned with the current President and his administration.

These candidates are the best people that the Republican party can put forward? A bunch of lunatics that want to annihilate personal freedoms and/or the separation of church and state? Shameful.

The state was split 50/50. Last Im looked, that's an even draw. In other words, they tied for first!
