Jackie Walorski has filed a bid for Congress.

The former State Representative filed her candidacy Wednesday to represent Indiana's 2nd District.

Walorski says she's running to help get the economy back on track, expressing the importance of creating jobs and balancing the budget.

“In the State House, I stood up to the big spenders to cut waste and balanced the budget without raising taxes,” Walorski said. “In Congress, I will take that same approach to get our country working again.”
