President Obama announces troops will be home for the holidays
Friday President Obama announced all US Troops will be home from Iraq by the end of the year.

Friday President Obama announced all US Troops will be home from Iraq by the end of the year.
Before the announcement the president had a private video conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki, saying the two had agreed on the decision.
More than 4,000 American Military Members have been killed in the war since the US invaded Iraq in March 2003.
There are less than 40,000 US Troops in Iraq now.
President Obama announces that the troops will be home by the holidays, "Here at home the coming months will be another season of homecomings. Across America our service men and women will be reunited with their families. Today I can say that our troops in Iraq will definitely be home for the holidays."
