Voting kicked off Monday for next month's Primary Election in St. Joseph County.
Absentee voting will take place through May 2, with the Primary Election happening on May 3.
You can vote in person at the County Services Building in Mishawaka or the County-City Building in South Bend
You can also request an absentee ballot by mail by writing to the St. Joseph County Election Board.
Even if you will be around for the primary, you can still vote ahead of time and get it out of the way.
Supervisor of the Absentee Voting Process Dawn Jones said, "If you think that you are going to be working on that day, on Election Day or not able to come in. Some people even forget. So if you're conscious of it now and you're aware, just come on down and vote and you don't even have to worry about it on Election Day."
Among others, the much talked about Mayoral Race is on the May 3 ballot.
