A recent poll of voters in the congressional race in the Third District and the race for Senate in Indiana shows the republican candidates breaking away from their democratic opponents.

IPFW’s Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics and Survey USA recently conducted a poll in the third congressional district.

Of 400 likely voters, 57% showed support for republican Marlin Stutzman.

While 32% threw their support behind democrat Tom Hayhurst.

7% supported libertarian Scott Wise.

Meantime IPFW also polled 1,600 likely voters in Indiana on the senate race, and the republican appears to be in the lead there as well.

54% of voters support Dan Coats, with 32% supporting democrat Brad Ellsworth.

7% support libertarian Rebecca Sink-Burris.
