On Tuesday night at 7:00, you’ll see a new addition to the WNDU line-up and get all your latest entertainment news. Every night, "Access Hollywood" will be talking to your favorite stars and taking you behind the scenes of the entertainment world.
Entertainment news powerhouse Access Hollywood has been breaking stories and getting the scoop for 14 years and season 15 is ready to go.
Like most news operations you have your morning staff meetings, conference calls and more meetings to break down what that day's show will be about.
Aside from what we see on TV, behind the scenes the entertainment news business is bigger and faster than ever, and Access is leaning on cyber news to satisfy the demand for up-to-the-minute information.
“Entertainment news is a 24/7 so our department here at AccessHollywood.com is really focused on getting the news out to get our viewers informed immediately,” said Jeremy Blacklow, who works on AccessHollywood.com.
“The whole social networking thing takes our medium to a while different level because it's more interaction and viewers feel more connected to us that way,” said Joe Siyam, associate segment producer.
Executive producer Rob Silverstein has been with the show since the very beginning and knows how to make good TV and have it stick with viewers.
“We don't anticipate. We don't tease, tease, tease and not deliver. We tease, tease, tease and deliver, so it's about delivering. It's about getting to the plate and hitting a home run when you have the chance,” said Silverstein.
Silverstein is quick to point out that while entertainment news is always changing and moving, viewers can expect Access will be there to cover it.
“We're the nightly news of entertainment news, that's it. We're the SportsCenter of entertainment news, a one-stop-shop. Everything you need, that you want to know, about entertaining is right here at Access Hollywood,” said Silverstein.
Watch NewsCenter 16 Wednesday night, just before 6:00, when we’ll take another behind the scenes look at Access Hollywood, including one-on-one interviews with the hosts.
You can catch Access Hollywood every weeknight at 7:00 on WNDU.
