Toddler found alone, unhurt in Flint parking lot

A toddler has been found alone and cold in a Flint parking lot.

MLive.com reports that police are looking into claims by the child's mother that a man who had given them a ride to a shelter Friday pulled off with the child.

The child's mother told police she had given the man $5 for the ride, but he drove away while she was inside the shelter.

State police Lt. Brian Cole says someone found the 1-year-old about 9:45 a.m. sitting in the parking lot at Flint Park Lake and flagged down police.

The toddler had a baby's bottle and wet blanket. Cole says the child was not hurt.
