STONY RIDGE, Ohio Investigators are looking into whether a leaking liquid-propane tank sparked an explosion that leveled a home and left two people dead in northwest Ohio.

Troy Township Fire Chief Randy Woodruff says the cause of the blast early Tuesday is still unknown. But he says the focus of the investigation now is on a propane tank.

He says tank sits just outside the house and toppled over after the explosion.

Neighbors say the blast woke them up around 5 a.m. and they saw flames at the ranch-style home near the village of Stony Ridge, about 15 miles south of Toledo.

One man died after being taken to a hospital, and the body of a woman was found in the rubble about six hours later.
