Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan could possibly face a $1 million fine if he participates in the American Century Classic Celebrity Tournament. The fine could occur because of the NBA's newest $1 million policy against player-employee interaction.
According to the Reno Gazette Journal, the NBA told Jordan that he would be fined if he played.
The American Century Championship's website states that five current NBA players are scheduled to participate in the charity tournament.
Players include Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen, Sacramento Kings guard Jimmer Fredette, Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Kidd, Memphis Grizzlies forward Shane Battier, and New Jersey Nets guard Deron Williams.
