RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) - President Barack Obama has wrapped up his meetings with Chinese leader Xi Jinping (shee jihn-peeng).

Obama and Xi met for several hours Saturday in California, after several hours of talks Friday evening.

Instead of returning immediately to Washington, Obama was spending the rest of the day at Sunnylands, the estate in Rancho Mirage where the talks were held. The White House gave no indication of how the president would spend the time. No immediate family accompanied him on the trip.

Obama is an avid golfer; he hit the links on each of his past four Saturdays in Washington. Sunnylands has a nine-hole golf course. The Weather Channel has forecast a high temperature of 105 degrees for Saturday.

The president was scheduled to return to the White House Sunday evening.
