About eight thousand recent high school grads found a surprise waiting for them in their diplomas, a misspelled word.
Public high school students in Prince George's County, Maryland graduated last week.
But school officials didn't realize the word program in the diploma was spelled “progam.”
County officials released a statement apologizing for the mistake and promised new diplomas soon.

The error didn't jump out at everyone. Most students found out about it after a classmate posted it on Facebook.
