Several activities occurring around central Indiana next week will try to raise public awareness of Americans without health care coverage.

The group known as Covering Kids and Families says events will bring together diverse groups from around the region to show support for those without coverage.

Covering Kids and Families Central Indiana program director Pam Humes says her group will be available to help enroll people in health insurance programs like Medicaid. Those events include a Women's Health Day on Tuesday at the Marion County Public Health Department and a Men's Health Day on Thursday, April 11, at the Statehouse.
