Surveillance footage shows a man threatening shoppers with an automatic weapon.
Where 333 S. Logan St., South Bend
When August 22, 12:20 a.m.
This area has been plagued by robberies. The suspect did not actually display a weapon, but he threatened the clerk.
Murphy USA burglary
Where 3665 Portage Ave., South Bend
When May 22, 1:10 a.m.
The suspect threw an object he found in the parking lot through a glass door to get inside. He stole lottery tickets and cigarettes.
Sewer grate thefts
The city of Mishawaka has lost 50 sewer grates, totaling $24,000 in losses. Thieves are taking them from the street and presumably selling them for scrap metal.
