Arizona authorities are searching for a shooting suspect who was mistakenly released from jail.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says it never received the charging paperwork for 25-year-old Daniel Munoz Perez and he bonded out on $320 after being booked December 16 on a misdemeanor warrant.
Perez is accused of shooting at Arizona Department of Public Safety officers outside a home in Casa Grande.
Perez was injured by gunfire, admitted to a Phoenix hospital for treatment and held in another county's jail before being turned over to the Pinal County.
But county authorities say they weren't notified of the warrant on Perez until December 23 - a week after he was released from custody.
Public safety officials said Tuesday that Perez remains at large.
