The House again passed a bill Wednesday that bans smoking in restaurants, bars, and workplaces.
But casinos and bingo halls are exempt.
That is different from a Senate-approved version which bans smoking in all workplaces.
Until lawmakers reach an agreement, no ban will be passed.
The main sticking point is casinos.
Detroit casinos don't want to be included in the ban.
They feel it puts them at a competitive disadvantage to tribal casinos, which are not covered by the ban.
