FBI officials say a Jamaican national arrested at Orlando International Airport was carrying materials in his luggage that could have been used for an explosive device.

Federal behavioral specialists spotted the man, identified as Kevin Brown, acting suspicious around noon in the ticketing area. An FBI statement says a search of his luggage revealed two galvanized pipes, end caps, two small containers containing BB's, batteries, two containers with an unknown liquid, laptop, and bomb making literature.

Authorities say Brown, who is approximately 32 years old, planned to board a flight to Jamaica. It's not yet clear what the FBI charged him with.

Brown is scheduled for an initial appearance in federal court Wednesday. FBI officials believe he was in the United States legally.
