GM closes more plants due to American Axle strike

Thousands of more GM workers could be off the job because of a supplier's ongoing strike.

American Axle workers in Three Rivers are among the 3,600 UAW members on strike since February.

The strike has already idled tens of thousands of GM workers at plants across the country, and even pulled hundreds of Mishawaka H2 workers off the job.

Now GM is getting ready to shut down its plant near Youngstown, Ohio, affecting 37-hundred workers because it's running out of parts.
