Investigators search for cause of another crane collapse

Authorities in Miami are trying to find out what caused a section of a construction crane to crash onto a home, leaving two workers dead and five more hurt.

It was the second deadly crane accident in 10 days, following a collapse in New York City that killed seven people.

The Miami fire department says the accident took place when workers tried to raise the crane section to extend the equipment's reach at a high-rise condominium. The section fell 30 floors onto a home that a contractor used for storage.

The two-story home with a Spanish-tiled roof was used in the movie "There's Something About Mary" -- it's where Cameron Diaz's character lived.

The company which is managing the construction says a subcontractor was operating the crane when the collapse occurred. The subcontractor hasn't commented.
