The prosecutors' office in Aruba says authorities have closed the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Prosecutors say they do not have evidence to charge anyone, and that they have notified the three suspects who were last seen with the Alabama teenager that they will not be charged.

They say the office has "exhausted" its powers in order to solve Holloway's disappearance on May 30th, 2005.

The search for Holloway spanned more than two years and involved hundreds of volunteers, Aruban soldiers, FBI agents and even Dutch F-16 jets laden with search equipment.
