Allegations of shady dealings in the candy business are triggering an investigation north of the border.
There are reports out of Toronto that regulators are investigating whether several candy bar makers teamed up in a price-fixing scheme.
The Globe and Mail newspaper reports the Canadian divisions of Nestle, Cadbury, Hershey and Mars are among the companies hit with search warrants this week. The warrants seek reams of documents on their pricing arrangements.
The companies say they're cooperating with investigators.
