One week after a beach house fire killed seven college students, nearly 200 people have attended a Sunday memorial service in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.
Evangelist Jerry Hannah prayed that the Communion service would help the victims' families and the community heal from the tragedy.
Hannah said the fire that killed six students from the University of South Carolina and one from Clemson University was a reminder of "how brief life is for all of us."
No family members attended, but the congregation prayed for them. A week earlier, family members had gathered at the Ocean Isle Beach Chapel to await news of their loved ones.
