Authorities say a 73-year-old woman who ran a stop light that was out of service because of Michigan's ice storm was killed when a pickup truck struck her SUV

Flint police say the crash happened on Christmas Eve. They tell MLive.com that the truck's driver stopped at the intersection and then proceeded when the woman's Chevrolet vehicle struck it.

The woman's name wasn't released. The pickup's driver was unhurt.

CMS Energy Corp. says the storm that hit Saturday night blacked out 318,000 Michigan homes and businesses, about 17 percent of its customers.

The power company says about 50,000 customers remained offline Christmas morning in Genesee County, which includes Flint.
