UPDATE: 91-year-old crash victim identified

An elderly woman killed in a crash in Berrien County has been identified.

WSJM reports that the victim has been identified as 91-year-old Frances Young.

The wreck happened just after 6p.m. Sunday at the intersection of US 12 and Mayflower Road in Bertrand Township, near JD’s Truck Stop.

Young was a passenger in a Buick Lesabre that failed to yield the right of way. Young's driver was headed south on Mayflower when it was T-boned by a Nissan, headed east on US 12.

The driver of the Nissan was not wearing a seatbelt and was injured when his face smashed into the windshield.

Both he and the other driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
