HIGHALD PARK, Mich. Prosecutors have filed a murder charge against a 34-year-old woman accused of setting an apartment building fire in Highland Park in which a 64-year-old man jumped to his death two years ago.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says Reneco M. Graus of Detroit is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder and arson of a dwelling.
Worthy says Graus torched the apartments in the Detroit enclave May 16, 2010. The prosecutor says at least 120 people lived in the 56-unit building.
Worthy says Raymond Jordan jumped from the fourth floor after firefighters couldn't reach him.
A judge arraigned Graus Tuesday, ordering her jailed until her Nov. 5 preliminary examination.
It wasn't immediately known if Graus has a lawyer. No one answered the phone Tuesday night at the Wayne County Jail.
