A student was found dead on the campus of Western Michigan University on Thursday.
Authorities say Alyssa Olafson, 19, was found unresponsive in her dorm room.
Emergency responders were called to the campus dormitory shortly after 1 a.m. They were not able to revive Olafson.
According to a university spokesperson, a pre-existing condition may have contributed to the student's death.
Olafson was from Allendale, Michigan.
An autopsy was conducted today, but officials have not released information on why Olafson died.
