The Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment says there's a Januaray 31 deadline to register online for the fifth-annual State Virtual Archery Tournament for students.
The tournament is for students in grades four through 12 and will take place February 1 through March 6, 2011.

The state agency says guidelines for the State Virtual Tournament guidelines are available at http://www.michigan.gov/dnrarchery.
The department says there are divisions for grades four-six, seven-eight and nine-12. It says teams need 16-24 students each and must have both boys and girls. Schools unable to field a team can register students to compete individually.
Winners will be able to advance to a national competition May 13-14 in Louisville, Kentucky.
