More vigils in memory of the shooting victims at a Sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee are taking place in Michigan.

The Detroit Free Press reports more than 500 people gathered to pray Wednesday night at a Sikh temple in the Detroit suburb of Plymouth.

Also Wednesday, about 50 gathered at Bronson Park in Kalamazoo for an interfaith candlelight vigil. Sikhs, Muslims and Christians were among the participants.

On Monday, vigils were held in Lansing and the Detroit suburb of Madison Heights. On Tuesday, a vigil was held at the Sikh Society of West Michigan near Grand Rapids.

Six people were killed at the temple Sunday in Wisconsin. Authorities say gunman Wade Michael Page died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head after he was shot by police.
