Three men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Niles liquor store, and they may have been involved in other robberies in the area.

Just before 8 p.m. on Sunday night, police were called to Riverside Liquors in the 1200 block of Front St. A citizen called police when they saw three people leaving the store wearing masks.

Police found a car that matched the vehicle description on Indian Lake Rd. just north of Sumnerville. The suspects tried to leave on foot, but police eventually caught up with them.

Jadius Owens, 24, Daris Boles, 19, and Tyshawn Kellogg, 18, were taken into custody. They are all from South Bend. They face charges of armed robbery and resisting arrest.

Police are also looking for a fourth person they believe was involved. Police also believe the men have connections with other robberies in the area.
