Thieves steal Glad Peach Festival cash voting box

COLOMA TOWNSHIP, MICH. Coloma Township Police are looking for two people who stole a cash voting box for the Glad Peach Festival.

The Herald Palladium reports that the box had multiple slots – one for each candidate for the Glad Peach prince or princess. Voters would put cash in the slot for their favorite candidate.

Two people were captured in surveillance video shortly before stealing the box from a McDonald’s in Coloma back on July 27th. They then took off in a silver sedan.

Police don't know how much money was in the box.

Anyone with information should contact the Coloma Township Police.
