Teen driving stolen car dies after crash

Police say a 16-year-old Pontiac boy who was driving a stolen car has died after running a red light and colliding with another vehicle in suburban Detroit.

The crash happened Sunday night in Oakland County's Waterford Township. Police said in a statement the car the boy was driving was reported stolen April 17 from Orion Township. He was pronounced
dead at an area hospital.

A 45-year-old woman who was driving the other vehicle was injured. She was taken to a hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition.

The crash was under investigation Monday.
