Authorities say they have established a task force to investigate at least three related shootings involving vehicles on southeastern Michigan roadways.

The Detroit News reports Saturday the Michigan State Police are working with the FBI and law enforcement officials in Washtenaw County's Pittsfield Township. The shootings happened between 5:40 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Monday in the county.

There were no injuries.

This is the second task force established in the past five months for roadway shootings. Last year, people in the region were on alert after a series of shootings on and near Interstate 96.

Raulie Casteel is jailed on attempted murder and other charges on accusations he fired on two dozen people.
