Michigan authorities are investigating the death of a 61-year-old man whose body was found at a paper mill where he was working in southwestern Michigan.

MLive.com says that the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration began inspecting the plant Sunday and probably will report in several weeks.

Police tell WLKM-FM and the Sturgis Journal that the body of Robert Knight of White Pigeon was found Sunday at the White Pigeon Paper Mill.

Police got a call that an employee was missing and his body was later found in a vat. An autopsy is planned to determine cause of death.

The mill is in St. Joseph County's White Pigeon Township, about 2 miles north of the Indiana state line and about 30 miles east-northeast of South Bend, Ind.
