Police in a wide stretch of southeastern Michigan are looking for a man suspected in at least 24 shooting attacks, the latest of which sent a male driver to the hospital with a leg wound.

The shooting on Interstate 96 in Fowlerville is the first that resulted in an injury. Authorities have released a sketch of a suspect but report no arrests or fresh leads Sunday.

Livingston County Sheriff Bob Bezotte says the wounded man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being hit in the left hip by a bullet that came through the driver's-side door.

Bezotte says that shots were fired earlier into another car, but its two occupants weren't injured.

Ten of the shootings happened in Wixom in Oakland County.
