Snow-making at Michigan ski slopes

The messy weather conditions may mean enough snow to make driving difficult, but not quite enough to cover the slopes.

Swiss Valley in Jones, Michigan turned to its snow-making machine Wednesday for a little extra help cover its trails with enough powder for skiing and snowboarding.

It hopes to open up by this weekend after crews finish grooming the hills, but the business recommends checking their website for the latest details on opening dates and conditions.
