Six people were injured after a two car accident in Cass County Saturday night.

The Cass County Sheriff's department received a call at 7:10 p.m. about a two-vehicle crash on Redfield St. near Gumwood Rd. in Milton Township.

A mother and her two children were driving westbound on Redfield when another vehicle turned in front of them.

The second car, driven by a Stephen Armet, a 23-year-old Granger resident, was heading south on Gumwood. Police say Armet and his 23-year-old passenger, Christopher Pavnica were taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Another passenger, Evan Armet, 21, along with the mother and children in the first vehicle were taken to St. Joseph Regional Hospital for treatment.

Police say seatbelts were worn by all passengers and alcohol may have been a factor.

The crash is still under investigation.
