Authorities say they've made two arrests in the deaths of two people who were shot while celebrating aboard a chartered party bus north of Detroit.

Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe says 20-year-old Lerrick Myers of Pontiac and 22-year-old Craig Lewis of Taylor are in custody. Authorities say Myers was arrested Thursday, while Lewis was out on parole from an attempted murder conviction.

They were scheduled for arraignment Thursday on first-degree murder and other charges.

Bus passengers were fired upon about 2 a.m. May 13 in Pontiac by a man some of them saw committing a street robbery. The sheriff's department has said that 28-year-old Anthony Ellis and 19-year-old Shuntrice Sylvester were innocent victims in the shooting. Both were from Detroit.
