An Ohio man, who used a hunting knife to rob a gas station in St. Joseph Township, could spend the next decade behind bars.
The Herald Palladium reports that 31-year-old James Adkins has been sentenced to a minimum of 3.5 years, and up to 10 years, in prison.
Adkins pleaded guilty to holding up a BP gas station at Niles Road and Napier Avenue back in December. He got away with 95 dollars, but was arrested three miles from the station.
He apologized for his actions, and his lawyer said he was intoxicated at the time.
