Saginaw County crash kills two

Police say two people have died and a third was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Saginaw County.

The Saginaw News reports the crash happened Sunday afternoon in Thomas Township after a vehicle driven by 90-year-old Chester A. Stocklosa failed to yield to another vehicle at an intersection. Police say Stocklosa and the other driver, 81-year-old Rose M. Parrish, died.

Police say 84-year-old Doris C. Stocklosa was a passenger in Chester Stocklosa's vehicle, and was hospitalized with injuries that weren't initially considered life-threatening.

All three involved are from Thomas Township, located near Saginaw about 85 miles northwest of Detroit.
