Detroit police say a neighborhood dispute escalated to shotgun fire, leaving a 3-year-old girl hospitalized with multiple wounds.
WXYZ-TV says a shotgun blast struck the girl in the chest, arm and leg.
WWJ-AM says the violence broke out about 6 p.m. Tuesday and says the girl was in stable condition and alert several hours later. Police tell the station they're confident of finding the shooter.
The Associated Press left a phone message for police seeking information.
