Michigan launched a multi-million dollar tourism campaign on Monday just in time for the spring and summer travel seasons.
“Pure Michigan” is a cable television advertising effort that first aired in 2006. This year, the state will spend $13 million to air the commercials more than 5,000 times across the country between now until the end of June.
The state also released its official 2013 travel guide which includes a map, a message from Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder in addition to details about all of the attractions the Wolverine State has to offer.
