Police have released the name of a baby who died after an Amish horse-and-buggy was rear-ended by a minivan in southern Michigan.

MLive.com and WLNS-TV report 10-month old Michael Steury Jr. was
thrown from the buggy Tuesday in Hillsdale County's Camden Township, not far from the boundaries with Ohio and Indiana.

Police say the infant was flown to a hospital in Toledo, Ohio, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the child's parents and a young sibling who also were
riding in the buggy were treated for injuries.

The minivan was driven by a 70-year-old woman. Police say the
woman and her two passengers weren't injured. The crash is under
investigation.
