Police in suburban Detroit are seeking information about a 55-year-old man last seen riding his bike away from his home.
Troy police say Monday that investigators were trying to determine if evidence of a possible assault at the home is related to Patrick Mikes' disappearance.
Capt. Robert Redmond says one person is being held, but no one has been charged in the case.
Mikes was seen Friday afternoon leaving home on his black Cannondale Super 6 road bike. The bike has red handlebars.
His two sons, ages 21 and 16, reported Mikes missing Sunday morning. That's when officers noticed evidence of an assault at the house north of Detroit.
Mikes rides about 50 miles on weekends.
