CALEDONIA, Mich. (AP) - Police across Michigan reported icy road conditions and vehicle crashes, including one where a school bus went into a ditch.
MLive.com reports no children were on the bus Wednesday morning and the driver wasn't injured in the crash near Caledonia, about 15 miles southeast of Grand Rapids.
Police shut down some West Michigan roads.
The Lansing State Journal reports slick roads were blamed in several Lansing-area crashes. WLNS-TV reports a fatal crash on Interstate 69 near Charlotte in Eaton County and an 11-vehicle crash near Perry in Shiawassee County with no serious injuries.
Icy roads also were reported in the Detroit area and southeast Michigan, parts of southwestern Michigan and the Flint area.
