TROY, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a 64-year-old man found slain behind a counter in the Troy gas station where he worked.
The Oakland Press in Pontiac reports Monday that Athir Putres, of nearby Rochester, died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Police have said two customers entered the Clark station about 1:30 p.m. Saturday. When a clerk never showed up to help them, they looked behind the counter and saw Putres on the floor.
No arrests have been made and investigators are reviewing video from surveillance cameras.
Police say it's not clear if robbery was behind the shooting.
