Authorities in southwestern Michigan say they have arrested two people in connection with the slaying of a 74-year-old Kalamazoo antiques dealer.

The Kalamazoo Public Safety office said Saturday that the 21- and 52-year-old residents of the city were located and apprehended based on interviews, evidence and tips from the public. Their names haven't been released.

Authorities say robbery was the motive for the killing of Bob Medema, who was found dead last Saturday in his home. He operated a longtime downtown antique store.

Police say the case will be presented to the Kalamazoo County prosecutor's office on Monday.
