State police say no injuries were reported after a drunken man drove his car through a busy midway section of a fair in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula.
WWTV/WWUP reports the 53-year-old Marion man was arrested Tuesday night at the Marion Fair in Osceola County after several people worked to stop him before he crashed. They took away his keys before police arrived.
State police say the man's blood-alcohol level was more than four times the legal limit. The man was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being jailed.
Police tell The Associated Press that it was lucky that no injuries were reported.
The fair runs through Saturday in Marion, about 50 miles southeast of Traverse City.
