New Bridgman police chief steps down after less than a month

BRIDGMAN Bridgman's police chief is stepping down after just 30 days on the job.

The Herald Palladium reports that Willie Mays, Sr. submitted his resignation Monday, citing family concerns.

Mays just took the job on July 16th.

The city council will meet Thursday to decide their next steps.
