Police have released the names of two teenagers killed when a car with six schoolmates crashed on a West Michigan expressway exit ramp. All four survivors were injured.
Police in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming say the pre-dawn crash Sunday killed 15-year-old Krysta Howell and 17-year-old Timothy See. They say the other injured passengers are 18-year-olds Trenton Lampbright and Huy Nguyen and 16-year-old Dylan Stanaway. They were among four people in the back seat.
All six attended Wyoming Park High School.
The crash happened on Interstate 196. MLive.com and WOOD-TV report police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Authorities say the 17-year-old driver was taken to the Kent County jail and may face charges.
