A Muskegon-area artist's works will hang in the Pentagon later this year.

Bryan David Snuffer specializes in art depicting the U.S. Coast Guard.

Four or five of Snuffer's works soon will be included in an exhibition at the Department of Defense's headquarters.

Snuffer tells The Muskegon Chronicle (http://bit.ly/13y8D3S) he got word from the exhibit's organizers that "the show is ready to be produced and hung," but won't go up until two other exhibits have been displayed.

The Fruitport Township artist expects his works to go up sometime within the next month or so, but he's not sure exactly when.

Snuffer will be notified when it happens, and officials will send him photos of his works hanging in the Pentagon.
