More searches are planned for a 4-year-old boy reported missing from a mid-Michigan Indian reservation.

The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe says the searches for Carnel
Chamberlain by tribal police, other officials and volunteers if needed are expected to take place Tuesday.

Carnel's mother has said the boy was being cared for by her boyfriend at her home near Mount Pleasant while she was at work Thursday when the child disappeared.

The Morning Sun of Mount Pleasant reports Monday's searches were concentrated in wooded areas near the home. Also Monday, MLive.com reports a search warrant was executed related to the boyfriend. Details about the warrant weren't released.

The tribe has said the boy's disappearance was "suspicious" and the boyfriend initially wasn't cooperative. Authorities and volunteers searched for Carnel over the weekend.
